As part of the HEDGE-IoT project, we are working on building smarter energy systems. Specifically focusing on a key aspect: devices need to understand each other. To achieve this, we use SAREF ontologies, the Knowledge Engine and data space technologies to turn scattered incompatible data into clear and unambiguous knowledge, ready to act on thus making energy systems easier to manage, connect, and more flexible.
